Hi there, in the early days the Principles were also advisers, so to be complete they should be included. We had Kelvin Syms for a year or two.

Actually just saw the question is specific to Vestar (Northplan not included) however Kelvin was also our advisor along with Pip Irwin with Vestar so still true.

We had Kelvyn Syms then John Perris for many years (Albany office)

Slightly complex but Northplan had a retail front office in Whangarei called the ‘Investor Centre’ which was set up by Briar Burke (I think) but was bought out by Northplan and subsequently owned by Vestar. My Investment Adviser there was Dave Walk. They mainly did the investments in Finance companies for Northplan.

Dave at Whangarei also acted as an advisor. I dont know his surname but speaking to him later his comment was “we only sold what we were told to”.

Paul Manning is now a director at RHB Chartered accountants in Tauranga.

I had DAVID McCONNOCHIE as my advisor during Northplan, and think he carried on for a period after Vestar before moving down south. Also John Perris.

I had “John Price ” formerly of swains then Vestar, I think he ran the Invercargill office

Andrew Hogg was our advisor in Dargaville and Whangarei and admitted at the end he had to follow the path set down by his boss, wether he believed it or not.

Also a man who came from Kaikohe ? name

Mark Baker is still operating as if nothing has happened. His Coy name has reverted back to Swains and Ken Swain is the principal. He is still operating and living in Queenstown.
